Last spring while weeding, I noticed a bit of green sprouting under the cement bench on the patio out back. I headed over to pull the weed, only to discover it was a petunia coming up in a crack in the patio. I left it and kept it watered and what a beautiful spot of color it gave ALL summer! Looks like several plants but it is ONE very healthy petunia growing in a cement crack!!


What a good spot for flowers! I love it! And you take great pics too ;)

But I do agree- that is really pretty. Isn't it just amazing how things can grow in the most unlikely places and not get choked out.
